It is annoying that the links to deleted messages remain there, as linked from the message. When I delete messages they delete properly from the main index page, but they don't delete from the individual messages.

That was a bug in this particular version of the bulletin board script. Previous versions didn't have that bug, and there haven't been any future versions. It was written in Perl, a language I'm only slightly familiar with, so I wasn't able to correct it. That's also why this bulletin board is housed on the englishbay.com server -- I wasn't able to edit the new file pathways properly when I changed servers.

Having said all that, we'll have a much better Board in two months. Now I know and use PHP, which I find much easier to program in than Perl and can make function properly. I'll install a PHP bulletin board next month. It will be totally different, much better.
