I'm retaining these two threads because who I am, my motivations, and my funding (or lack thereof) are all legitimate questions, regardless the tone in which they're asked.

Nowhere do you state that you are a Bahai nor that your contributors are Bahai.
My response above did indeed specify that two of the donations were by Baha'is, and the third, by yourself, I did not specify -- I do not know your religious affiliation and have no interest in guessing.

As to whether or not I'm a Baha'i, that's a private matter which no-one but my wife and close friends really know. However, as Rob pointed out, any Baha'i can inquire from both the Canadian NSA and the US NSA as to my affiliation, and they will (I believe) share that information. It is thus "public" and I'm not hiding it -- but it's not relevant to the criteria by which I run the library.

That's a technical answer. Here's a more personal one, which I have posted at the top of my personal page:

In the final analysis, for the believer there are no
questions, and for the non-believer there are no answers.
— Haffetz Hayyim
One month I'm one, the next month I'm the other. I think "belief" is but a human concept of which God has no need. By their deeds shall ye know them.
Stating the non-sponsorship or non-affiliation with Bahai institutions or UHJ is a legal necessity.
Yeah, whatever. Show me a quotation, and if you can't find one, ask the House directly. They've always been most forthcoming in addressing issues relating to this website, when asked.
However, nowhere do you deny that you are an agent of any other institution or group.
Nowhere do I deny that I'm a little green dog. I belong to the ABS, and in 1998-99 I belonged to Shotokan Karate International. That's all I can think of offhand.
Thanks for the info that Jonah is a Bahai living in Canada. I do not recall any statement to that effect from Jonah
Don't know how hard you looked. A google search for Jonah Winters returns my personal page as the first result. Click on Bio. It's now seven years old, but I can't update it now or surely I'd delete something incriminating -- better check the Google cache to make sure I haven't recently edited it. It says "we've moved to Vancouver BC as of July 2001."
