In Hebrew the Ah sound is called aleph (aw-lef) and is considered to be the first sound ever made by God as he opened his mouth and was the sound that created the universe. Om, equally pronounced Ahm has a similar historical interpretation.

Needless? to say - Alla u Abha follows in the patterm.
