Another way to look at the question is:

We are emotionally so offended by the behaviour of this lewd and overtly promiscuous gay man who loves to provide verbally explicit details and photos of his homosexual relations that we have no problem refusing him our friendship. But we wonder whether this would be acceptable as a Baha'i act, not simply an emotional reaction.

I did not consider this submission to be back-biting but - if I would generalize - do I have an obligation to accept a known murderer into my home. I have been told, as a Baha'i, no. Is this correct? Perhaps it is not. I am open, and since this is a "real" problem, I thought I would receive more feedback.

Thanks
