game sweatshops

Postby onepence~2 » Sun Sep 07, 2008 4:57 am

Earlier this month, a Chinese man named Zhou Xujun won a lawsuit against an online gaming company. His characters, weapons and other virtual goodies were returned to him. Xujun had been removed from the virtual arena of World of Warcraft, a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), for exploiting a software bug in order to increase his cache of virtual gold.

Hooray for the little guy, but is this man's story really inspiring?
