Some prayers answered and some not

Postby larry » Thu Jun 18, 2015 2:07 am

Dear friends,

Can anyone recall a passage by 'Abdu'l-Baha' about the why some healing prayers are answered and some are not?

The sentiments was as such that if a prayer is answered is because the soul is able to withstand the next test, and if the prayer is not answered then the soul will not be tested beyond its capacity and is returned to God.

Also, in the same quote He goes on to expand on the impact of tests on the individual as a purification of the soul, to the care giver to develop compassion, and the generality of community to be moved towards tenderness.

Thank you,
Larry

HI there, I think no one can answer you for this question because we can't find out the answers which totally depends on the god.
