Zazaban, the U.H.J. still needs to determine what that verse means (like you say its up to personal interp. now). It might mean that men cannot grow their hair long (not ear hair; the ear is spoken of in the context of hair length), but as in the note in the Aqdas it still is up to the U.H.J. to ru...

Majnun, The 500,000 years refers the end of the Babi cycle not the coming of the next manifestation. Sihksm, People here tell me that Guru Nanak could not have been a Prophet because Muhammed was the seal for the Adamic cycle. I do not think this is so. Abdul Baha said that Muhammad could claim to b...

Abdul Baha is not a Prophet. It is possible he is with a prophet with a small p but he is definatly not with a capital P. The rule on cutting hair looks to me to apply to ear hair. back in 19th century persia men would wear ear hair very long. However the rule is not defied so it's up to personal in...

Some of the content seems confusing. Abdul Baha uses ether as an example of something that we cannot see but know exists, but we now know ether does not exist. Also, He appears to condemn Evolution wearas people say he embraces it. I am confused. :?: Also, he seems, while talking about the Divine Cy...

I think it isn't ex-Baha'is per say, it's the ones that come here to try to "prove" Baha'is wrong and fight with them. If they disenroll, or get kicked out, they should keep to themselves, not come to Baha'i forums and start controversy. No, what he was complaining about was specifically non-Baha'is.

Let me rephrase, I mean the actual writings not the way Gnostics interpeted it. The demiurge could be seen as man's animal desires for example. Some of the "Gnostic" and other christian/jewish apocryphal writings could be interpeted in light of the Baha'i faith to conform to Baha'i teachings. Once a...
