abstract noteThe Chicago House of Spirituality was the early name for the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Chicago. It was one of the earliest Bahá'í administrative bodies in the United States, being formed ca. 1900-1901. The records consist of minutes, correspondence and financial records. There is little material for the period 1912-1916. The Archives has an unpublished inventory.
