Indeed, the term 'Muhajir' is Arabic which means, a migrant.
This word is derived from the Arabic root of Hijra which means, migration, hence, the Hijri Islamic calendar which commenced when His Highness Muhammad migrated to Medina from the persecution of Meccans in 622 AD.
As previously mentioned Persian, Urdu, Hindi & Turkish are languages rich in Arabic vocabulary, especially Persian & Urdu. Kindly note that it is imperative to study Arabic grammar if you wish to study Persian since Arabic grammar is inclusive & mandatory within the Persian syllabus.

As to the word Pioneer(ing), its' Arabic equivalent is,
Raed (singular)
Roowad (plural)
OR
Taliy'at
