Dear Stuart,

Some of you're sentiments which you have expressed with regard to the potential for this site to mislead people about the Baha'i Faith I have felt before. However you should ask yourself a few questions:

1. If this site were shut down what would take its place? No doubt, someone would invent another board or the clientel, including yourself who seems to frequent this site as much as anyone else, would migrate to some other place. Would you then recommend that site be shut down?
2. How do we know that you are not a covenant breaker? Besides, if you really think that Jonah may be a covenant breaker then you should not be communicating with him as you are well aware.
3. This site is obviosly something which is very close Jonah's heart. As you have stated, it is sophisticated, and many many hours have obviously gone into it. Therefore, I feel that regardless of what we think of Jonah as a human being, we should give him and his work some respect. If you don't agree with the site, don't use it and don't tell you're friends about it. It is extremely hurtful to accuse a Baha'i of being a covenant breaker and the accusatoin should not even be alluded to unless you have concrete information and you have confirmed it with the institutions.

Please don't take this email as anything other than friendly suggestions.

Cheers,

BJ.
