The Arabic equivalent of 'Deepening' is 'Ta'a'moq.'
Kindly note that the middle A's pronunciation is similar to the first A in Abdul'Baha or Ali or Ayn which means the eye.
By the way, the Arabic term 'Qurat'ul'ayn' means the pupil of the eye.
