I don't think a fatwa from the House is needed for every single thing we do in our daily lives. At the mouthwash level of obedience, I prefer to work it out for myself. What I do to my oral cavities in the privacy of my bathroom, is my business, and is not harming me or other people. It's probably saving other people from harm!
