Allah'u'abha Stuart,

I had typed up a rather long reply to the Osama Bin Laden thread a few days ago, but I'm not very good at expressing myself in writing, so I never posted it.

But, this post of yours has brought up some points that I had in mind when reading the Osama Bin Laden thread, and I couldn't help posting here now :) I read a portion of a fabulous compilation put together by Baha'i Canada Publications, entitled "Rights and Responsibilities: The Complementary Roles of the Individual and Institutions". In this compilation of letters from the Universal House of Justice can be found references to the Baha'i relationship to politics, to the responsibilities and spiritual bounties conferred upon the American Baha'is, liberty, and many many other things brought up in this and the other thread.

I highly recommend this small compilation to all the readers on this Board! Esp. those following this and the other thread with interest...

Dunno if the compilation is online or not...
