Lauer named interim chair of interfaith group

Lois Lauer replaces Louise Linton as chairman of the Redlands Area Interfaith Council. The group will sponsor two "Voices of Faith" forums this year.

REDLANDS   Redlands Area Interfaith Council held its regular monthly meeting Dec. 12, at which Lois Lauer, from the First Church of Christ Scientist of Redlands, was named interim chairman.

Lauer replaced Louise Linton of Mentone United Church of Christ who is unable to serve.

Doug Hallen from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was asked to serve as secretary and Al Polchow of First Presbyterian will remain as treasurer.

In addition to Lauer, Hallen and Polchow, those attending were the Rev. Sharon Graff of Redlands United Church of Christ, Eric Smith of Redlands First United Methodist Church, Shirley Glass of Redlands First Lutheran Church, Dean Leptak of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Olene McCrary of Redlands First United Methodist Church and Art Gregory of the Baha'i Faith.
