Turn all your thoughts toward bringing joy to hearts.

"Turn all your thoughts toward bringing joy to hearts."

is a phrase that seems very simple, even elegant and yet i find myself, at times, so far removed from that reality it seems like an absolute impossible task ...

well ... an absolute impossible task for me that is ... lol

however ... my daughter ... Heather Rose Hedges ... wow

if there was ever a living soul that reminds me constantly of The Greatest Holy Leaf,
it would be her ... Heather Rose Hedges ... just turned 15 the other day ...

wow ... she lives with her mom ... whom i divorced over14 years ago ...
i see her every other weekend or so ... she has learned much of this world ...

she knows how to play a violin, read and speaks french with ease,
types over 120 words per minute, knows that you can google anything,
and ... most importantly ... has found many many things to make her laugh ...

now granted ... at 1am and she is up laughing at fail blog or some such thing,
i sometimes can feel irritated ... yet ... to hear her laugh is amazing ...

sometimes i do not know when or if i will ever laugh again ...

i am going through a second year of patience ...
the reason why i need not go into ...

so ... today ... i had a daydream ...

i like to daydream a lot ...

these past few months i have dreamt i was a royal falcon,
in human form ... you know ... in contemporary America we have the Blue Angels ...
some sort of navy super fighter jets F-16 or some sort i think ...
costs millions and millions to make/produce such things ...

and i am thinking ... like ... why not have a jet pack like thing ...

i imagine we can make a robe perhaps even adorned with feathers ...
(call me bird brain i know)

... well ... if you a dreamer then i am sure you get the idea ...
been flying ... to and fro ...

The House of The Bab
The House of Baha'u'llah

The House of The Bab
The House of Baha'llah

doing this figure eight thing ...
really fun ... really spectacular

touch and go
touch and go

to and fro
to and fro

... yet ... do i laugh ... ???

no

i think now ... as i am writing ...

i might be laughing or i also might be crying ...

who knows ... lol ...

Heather says some famous quote

"life is a comedy to those who think and a tragedy to those who feel"

so ... today ...

i daydreamed i was hoppled, crippled, a pathetic man,
and i figure like Abdu'l Baha came with me

gave me a cup to drink and walked with me
i throw up repeatedly .. what ghastly posion was within me

the figure encouraged me to walk
and we walked and walked
until i was able to skip
peg leg and all we skipped down the hall

and then ... the peg leg was no more ...
the whole being had transformed into a bird and flew away

in a way ... it is a joy to remember such things ...

i do not now if i would call such daydreams as laughing or laughter
but i am sure that many people find my daydreams laughable
and in a strange way it is kinda of joyous to remember

"Turn all your thoughts toward bringing joy to hearts."

I am happy here.

It is an odd sensation for me to find happiness here and i am not sure what to make of it. lol . I think, like my daughter, i have always been happy within the self defined and confined walls of reality.

I still remember this dream, not that long ago, I was up in siberia , dressed in my finest, the snow swirling around the brick wall and i standing dazed in confused, me, the czar of everything russian could not budge the wall ... and ... the little man standing beside me, and now that i think about it he was probable something of a french-man or something said something to the effect of ... yes, we met here often ... meaning yes you, the czar, came here often and yes you, the czar, can never can get through that wall ... and the little man to my amazement walked through the wall as if walking into a courtyard ... he did this repeatedly ... and now that i think about it ... perhaps if i take one step forward and make a right turn ... i too ... might learn something about ...

my happy thought today is that there are others who are bringing joy to hearts.

the most remarkable man that i have ever heard of, and i have heard of plenty of men, is the man whom was assigned the privilege of building the first Mashriqu'l-Adhkár , the one in Russia ... odd , though, that i do not know his name ... i only know of him because of two of his deeds ... one, the obvious, and the other not so obvious

hmmm ... you know what i wonder ... how close Abdu'l Baha must be to The Holy Spirit, The Holy Ghost ... truly the mystery ever deepens
