Yes, that sounds about right, and 900 million don't. Without citing specific surveys, roughly 80-90% of Muslims don't believe that Muslims were behind 9/11 (at least in the countries I've read about such surveys taken in).

Let me clarify and emphasize my own position vis-a-vis the Faith. I'm not really being coy or secretive in wishing not to discuss or make a public statement about my own beliefs. A few years ago I wrote, and quoted above, "As a librarian and educator, my personal religious status is and must remain ...

i feel duped into believing that this was a "Baha'i" site Dean, I'm sincerely sorry to have given any impressions that, you feel, misrepresented my approach, my personal beliefs, or this site. On the main page of the site it says "This site is not endorsed by any Bahá'í institution and is not affil...

The NSA of the country where the website is located would be the proper authority. In this case, secretariat@usbnc.org. I do reside in Canada but I'm an American and, anyway, the server is housed in Florida.

Posting items that may be unrelated to the Baha'i Faith

By request, I added this forum for Dean (onepence), and anyone else, who wishes to post news items that might be unrelated to the Baha'i Faith. For non-News topics also unrelated to the Baha'i Faith, by request I added another discussion forum at http://bahai-library.com/forum2/viewforum.php?f=7 . -...

Discussion of matters wholly unrelated to the Baha'i Faith

By request, I'm adding this forum for people to discuss anything they wish. Planetary science, video games, favorite foods, TV shows, or how cute your pets are. I've already added one "non-Baha'i topics" forum by request, the News forum at http://bahai-library.com/forum2/viewforum.php?f=6 ...

Sure, it's worth a try. What should we call the new forum, "Unrelated"? "Non-Baha'i"?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm afraid there's no way to merge the old bulletin board (see links to 1998, 1999 etc in the upper right corner) with the new forum. They're wholly incompatible systems (the old one was a file-based perl script, the new one a databased PHP script). Re a forum for stuff un...

Hi, all. I have followed this topic since it was first posted. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm afraid none of us can be in a position to determine who's a Baha'i and who's not, who's "inactive" vs. who's "ex-Baha'i," etc. Plus, I don't want to provide a forum specifically for grievances against the A...
