. Baha'is
Abstract:
The Baha'i Faith's continuities and discontinuities with Islam. This is the only Baha'i-related article in The Encyclopaedia of the Qur’an.
Notes:
The nature of this publication is such that the Baha'i Faith is treated in almost purely Islamic terms. However, the Babi religion is described as "super-Islamic" by dint of its intense Imamocentrism (as pointed out by Todd Lawson), while the Baha'i Faith is characterized as "supra-Islamic" by virtue of its universalism.
